Record URLs, pages, viewport sizes and interactions. Separate the parts to reproduce from those to adapt, and confirm asset permissions.
Check visuals and functions separately
Typography, spacing, images and color are one set of checks. Menus, forms, filters, login and payments are another. A screenshot cannot replace functional testing.
Ask the owner to edit something
Change a title, replace an image and add content, then check mobile. Confirm domain, hosting, website and software access.
